THEY ARE OFF.....AND THEY ARRIVED SAFELY...(and urgent action needed)

I'm so excited that my little sister, Kasey, headed out Sunday with her hubby for their FIRST trip to Ethiopia...They'll be attending court for their little boy they are adopting....So excited for them I can hardly stand it...
You see..I met my NEW NEPHEW when I was in ET in December...OH, AND I LOVED HIM......I blogged about him HERE...
I ask YOU ALL to join our family and friends in prayer as WE PRAY they pass court TOMORROW NIGHT (Wednesday night)...cause while we sleep Wednesday night..they'll be in court, before an ET judge...AND..IF they pass court..I can remove the heart from his face and SHOW OFF MY PRECIOUS NEW NEPHEW!!! Praying, Praying, Praying they pass court the first time....Wednesday night our time!!!

**Well, i have 7 children this week cause i have my sister's two littles while she is at court....We're having a GREAT time and everyone is doing great... My kids LOVE having their cousins around....Here are the 3 boys:
Here are the 4 girls:
Oh, wait...Lucy Lane has to stand on her head for you all to let everyone KNOW that she does everything in her own NUTTY kind of way...LOL....
Yes, LIFE is NEVER dull around here!! ha ha My sister actually called today from ET and they are all doing well...They are spending tons of time with "T" (their new son) and he is doing great!! They even got to meet my WES today and love on him!!! How COOL is that!! I met her son and now she gets to meet my son!! So neat to be traveling down this road with your SISTA!!! :) LOVE IT!!!

***Ok, so I received this today from Lucy lane's agency....As I posted already..a lot of changes being talked about in the Ethiopian program.... Thank you for your prayers for my sister's case...and Happy Tuesday to you all!!! Here is what they had to say:

Help Us Advocate For Ethiopian Orphans

An Important Update

The Ethiopian Ministry of Women's Affairs (MOWA) has announced a proposal to decrease the number of adoptions they will process and approve—even by as much as 90%. They are planning to accomplish this decrease by limiting the number of approved cases to only 5 per working day. This change is currently set to begin on March 10, 2011.

Please know that no one fully understands this proposal yet. This will impact every agency and the families that each serve. This means that all agencies are working together in their advocacy making a very strong force that is working on the behalf of children and families. Currently, all agency staff are waiting for the Director of MOWA to return to Ethiopia. Once she returns they will have a chance to sit down and talk over the implications of this proposal.

To attempt to counteract this proposal, the Joint Council on International Children’s Services (JCICS) has put a “Call to Action” in place. This sort of international advocacy is what JCICS does, and they do it well.

We are strongly encouraging you to read their post below and follow the suggested steps. You can also share this with your family, friends, Facebook friends and church to do the same. It is so important that we are all united in this effort! We are all advocates in our own circles of influence—and it is good to partner with you in this!

  2. Kristi, soooo excited for your sis, praying for a passed court date. We adopted our 3 year old son from Ethiopia & he has been home with us since July of 2010. Is there anyway I can copy and paste the above information to my blog & my facebook page. We are praying like crazy for the beautiful children of ET & that our God will move mountains to make sure that the proposal does not happen.I can't imagine what the families are going through that have started the process, ugh!!!
