What If.....

What if...
No one cared that you had been born?
No one saw your first smile or encouraged your first steps?
You never felt a mother's love or a father's embrace?
You longed for a family that never came and hoped for a home that lived only in your dreams?
Orphaned children all over the world are waiting...hoping...praying that they will become dear to someone. That somewhere there will be one special family that finds delight and great joy in welcoming them into their home! Each one waits expectantly, with a hopeful heart for a family to come, each tiny soul daring to silently rehearse secret dreams for the future... Is there room in your heart for a waiting child?
(taken from the AGCI web site)

**What is this above pic??? It is TWO SISTERS embraced in a hug....TWO SISTERS waiting on the AGCI wait list...WAY TOO LONG!!! Now I haven't checked in with anyone during the holidays, but I'm guessing since I haven't heard, that BOTH sets of sisters at AGCI are still waiting....SO, before 2009 comes to an end...I wanted to bring them to life for you ONE MORE TIME!! Here's the SCOOP:

***There are TWO sets of sisters on the "wait list" for agci right now!! One set is 8 and 11 and the other set is said to be 9 and 11!!! These are REAL LIVE CHILDREN sitting in an orphanage waiting and dreaming about their new family. BOTH sets of sisters have LOST both of their parents....SO, they are considered full orphans!! All four girls are HEALTHY and HAPPY and adjusting well....They love sports, school, friends, etc....just like my own children at home do!! I pray tonight that someone will read this and pass it along until it reaches the RIGHT PERSON God has intended for these children. Now, just to clarify...these are two separate sets of sisters...they are not related to one another!!! They just happen to be the same age and have similar stories...I know God is making my heart hurt for these children for a REASON...I know TOGETHER we can make a difference in the Orphan Crisis of the world...ONE CHILD AT A TIME!!!

*** Please join me in praying these WAITING CHILDREN to their forever families!!! AND, if you'd like to inquire about EITHER set of sisters....PLEASE CONTACT:

.... Megan Palmer, her email is mpalmer@allgodschildren.org or by phone at 971-244-1461. If you have any additional questions for me....you can email me at weloveourlucy@gmail.com

***AND I encourage you all to LOOK THROUGH the waiting children's lists at AGCI and ALL other agencies too...You never know when God will speak to you about a certain child you may run across!! That is HOW my sister found her son, Nathan!!

**Thank you ALL for your prayers for these SISTERS!! They have no idea the amount of people praying for them tonight....I pray they feel a sense of PEACE wash over them as they live another day clinging to one another...the only family they have left....that is UNTIL YOU COME ALONG!!! kj

Epiphany
Love clears the fog that separates me from God. Loving God, I offer to you today every thought, feeling, or situation that keeps me separated from you. Send your love to disperse my fog and bring me closer to you. AMEN

But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir. Galatians 4:4-7

  2. Hi Kristi! I have had your Gotcha Day video on my blog for a long time now, but since this horrible identity theft has happened to you, I see you have everything copyrighted. I don't blame you, I would too. But should I take your Gotcha Day video off of my blog for copyright purposes? You can find it here: http://gdalmquist.blogspot.com/

  5. Would you share any ideas you might have for adoption fundraising? How did God provide financially for your adoption?
